Soldiers with 2nd Battalion, 11th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, prepare to sling load their M777 howitzer onto a CH-47 Chinook helicopter during a two-gun raid air assault exercise October 10, 2019 at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. The Soldiers flew from Dillingham Air Field and rapidly emplaced their firing positions back at their home station range. The coordinated exercise, alongside the 25th Infantry Division Combat Aviation Brigade, was the first live fire air assault of M777 Howitzers ever conducted on the island of Oahu and shows the Army's ability to rapidly project our forces over any terrain in any conditions.
