Brandee Ridgway, a fire prevention inspector with the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point Fire and Emergency Services, asks a question to students from Graham A. Barden elementary school in Havelock, North Carolina, Sept. 16, 2019. The Cherry Point Fire and Emergency Services visited local schools to help teach students about fire safety. During the visits, students watched a video demonstrating the importance of fire safety, asked questions to a fully dressed firefighter, and even got to meet “Sparky” the Fire Dog.
