U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. David Furness, commanding general of 2nd Marine Division (2d MARDIV), attends a rail operations brief at Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow, California, Oct. 24, 2019. The brief revolved around courses of action to retrograde 2d MARDIV equipment back to Camp Lejeune. 2d MARDIV is preparing to conduct MAGTF Warfighting Exercise (MWX) 1-20, which is set to be the division’s largest exercise in decades.
