A pilot assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 22 gives a thumbs-up as tiger cruise participants on vultures row watch pilots and aircraft assigned to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17 depart the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) and return to their home bases after nearly six months embarked.
