Chief Warrant Officer 5 Jacob Russell, an instructor and platoon leader at the Eastern Army National Guard Aviation Site (EAATS) was promoted Oct. 24 at Fort Indiantown Gap. With his promotion to CW5, Russell became the youngest Pennsylvania National Guard member ever to achieve that rank at the age of 41 years, 11 months. Russell was joined at the ceremony by his wife, Angie, children Jace and Maryn, parents Dean and Joanna Russell, in-laws Brian and Maria Bartsch, neighbor John Foltz and sons, in addition to numerous colleagues and friends from the Pa.
