Ivan Alas, a Los Angeles native, now a human resources specialist with 574th Quartermaster Support Company, 18th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade, matches item descriptions and serial numbers from his paperwork to equipment being turned in to Task Force Harvest at an inspection area here May 21, 2012. Soldiers with 170th IBCT are turning in all equipment on their property books in preparation for unit inactivation scheduled for October.
