Amn. First Class Caleb Forristal, 72nd Security Forces Squadron, mans an M240 machine gun inside of a defensive fighting position (DPF) overwatch during an Ability to Survive and Operate (ATSO) exercise Oct. 23 in the Glenwood area of Tinker Air Force Base. The multi-faceted exercise saw 72nd Air Base Wing personnel in MOPP 4 gear performing PAR sweeps to search for unexploded ordnance and casualties, test for chemical warfare vapors, such as nerve, blood and blister agents, set up a vehicle search pit at entry control points, perform chemical monitoring, review mission capabilities and go through contamination control areas.
