Tonia Jordan, an emergency room nurse, remotely controls and monitors a simulation mannequin (Sim Man) facility at Sierra Army Depot, California, during the United States Forces Command Medical Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise, Nov. 2, 2019. The Sim Man is a mannequin that simulates human pulmonary and respiratory functions and augments realistic training by screaming, breathing, bleeding, moving, physiologically responding to treatments rendered and providing feedback data via recording sensors.
