U.S Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Adam Martinez, a reconnaissance Marine with 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion (2d RECON), Second Marine Division (2d MARDIV), ensures an oxygen mask is properly set up at Camp Wilson, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Oct. 24, 2019. The purpose of this training is for reconnaissance Marines to exercise their ability to insert via air when ground routes are inaccessible. Second Reconnaissance Battalion will be participating in the execution of MAGTF Warfighting Exercise (MWX) 1-20. MWX is set to be the largest exercise conducted by the 2d MARDIV in several decades.
