Ensign Brian Masneri, a Seabee from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 7, receives a sharpie promotion after taking the oath of office and being promoted to lieutenant junior grade at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. NMCB 7 has been in country since January and has directly supported the U.S. mission in Afghanistan through strategic construction operations, large scale tactical infrastructure support projects, force protection and countless other means.
