Just promoted Lt. j.g. Brian Masneri, a Seabee from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 7, presents fellow NMCB 7 Seabee Builder 2nd Class Ace Shedd with a certificate of re-enlistment at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. NMCB 7 has been in country since January and has directly supported the U.S. mission in Afghanistan through strategic construction operations, large scale tactical infrastructure support projects, force protection and countless other means.
