Sgt. Alexander Wensink, a member of the Tennessee National Guard mobilized with the 401st Army Field Support Battalion-Kuwait, drops the barrel of a M119 Howitzer during an inventory of the system at Army Prepositioned Stocks-5, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Aug. 26. One of the things that must be confirmed during the inventory of a howitzer system is the presence of a barrel plug. The M119 is stored with the barrel pointed upward, meaning each unit had to be lowered for visual confirmation of the plug.
