ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 12, 2019) Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Fuels) 3rd Class Alex Clark, from Boone, Iowa, retrieves the jet propulsion-5 (JP-5) transfer hose from Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Fuels) 2nd Class Dea Brown, from Memphis, Tennessee, both assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) air department, on the ship's flight deck during an aircraft refueling. The refueling was Ford's first utilizing its newly-redesigned fueling stations.
