ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 12, 2019) Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Michael Ward, from Dalton, Georgia, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) dental department, is presented with his "Wolverine of the Day" certificate by Capt. John J. Cummings, Ford's commanding officer, and Command Master Chief De'Andre Beaufort in the ship's pilot house. Ward was selected for treating 64 patients and increasing overall productivity, resulting in the ship achieving 95 percent dental readiness.
