Electronics Technician Chief Jean F. Micourt, a Recruit Division Commander (RDC) assigned to Officer Training Command, Newport (OTCN) in Rhode Island, inspects the Navy Working Uniform worn by a student with Officer Candidate School (OCS) class 06-20 on Nov. 15, 2019. Physical training and increased volume is incorporated to increase their stress level. OCS develops civilians and fleet Sailors into newly commissioned officers morally, mentally, physically and imbue them with the highest ideals of honor, courage and commitment in order to prepare graduates for service in the fleet as Naval officers.
