F/A-18 Hornet’s with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 232, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), conduct an aerial refuel above the United States on Nov. 5, 2019. Ground and air crews from MAG 11 successfully performed two cross-continental precision air strikes from California to Florida and back during scheduled training from 4 to 6 November. Exercises such as this provide realistic, relevant training necessary for 3rd MAW to “Fix, Fly, and Fight” as the Marine Corps’ largest aircraft wing ensures the unit remains combat-ready, interoperable, deployable on short notice, and lethal when called into action.(U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
