Ordinance Marines with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 232, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), conduct a hot-load of missiles onto an F/A-18 Hornet on Nov. 5, 2019. Ground and air crews from MAG 11 successfully performed two cross-continental precision air strikes from California to Florida and back during scheduled training from 4 to 6 November. Exercises such as this provide realistic, relevant training necessary for 3rd MAW to “Fix, Fly, and Fight” as the Marine Corps’ largest aircraft wing ensures the unit remains combat-ready, interoperable, deployable on short notice, and lethal when called into action.
