Comprised of nearly 2000 Army Reserve Soldiers, three battalions, 12 companies and two Army Reserve Elements, the 455th is the only chemical brigade in history to deploy to a combat theater of operations, and this is the 5th time in its proud history the unit has been activated since World War II.
