Mrs. Freddie Jackson (left), Kimberly Talley-Armstead (center), and Jeffrey Armstead Sr. (right), expresses their gratitude during a range dedication for Staff Sgt. Stevon Booker in the Fort Stewart, Ga., Nov. 19. Booker is a son to Jackson, brother to Talley-Armstead, and brother in-law to Armstead Sr. The Multipurpose Range Complex was renamed the Staff Sgt. Stevon Booker Range Complex. Booker was killed in action in 2003 during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He played a key role in the invasion of downtown Baghdad in what is now known the Thunder Run.
