A species of Freshwater crab from the Potamon Genus eyes the camera as it scurries across the floor of a building on Forward Operating Base Jackson, Helmand province, Afghanistan May 29, 2012. Crabs such as this are typically found in canals and freshwater irrigation ditches, but often venture into areas inhabited by humans to scavenge for food.
