Twenty two U.S. Navy and Marine Corps student aviators received their wings of gold in front of family and friends at NAS Whiting Field Nov. 22. They are the newest rotary pilots to join the ranks of unrestricted naval aviators. During the ceremony, the 35,000th helicopter pilot received his wings of gold, a milestone for Whiting’s 46 years training rotary aviators.
