Command Sgt. Maj. Brian Hester, the senior enlisted advisor for U.S. Army Central, greets soldiers at the Zone 1 dining facility at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, at a Thanksgiving meal, Nov. 28. 2019. On the menu this year was: roasted and smoked turkey, steamship rounds, shrimp cocktails, corn, cranberry sauce, assorted pies and cake, eggnog and sparkling grape juice. USARCENT planned to serve nearly 50,000 at 60 sites across the theater. While most meals were served in large dining facilities, Soldiers at austere locations received their Thanksgiving meal in insulated food containers delivered by air. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
