Soldiers visiting the chief of police during a psychological operations training scenario become concerned about the mistreatment of a prisoner in the adjacent cell. The PSYOP course at Fort Hunter Liggett, California trains Soldiers and Marines to build trust among the village leaders and to navigate cultural differences while trying to keep the peace among different factions. Fort Hunter Liggett’s 80th Training Command (TASS) conducts a month-long PSYOP course for Soldiers and Marines reclassifying their military occupational specialties.
