Kim and Gillis are from the U.S. Naval Forces Europe Band "Flagship" and performed at the association's headquarters, jamming with local artists. The band is traveling with High Speed Vessel Swift (HSV 2) as part of Africa Partnership Station. APS is an international security cooperation initiative, facilitated by Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, aimed at strengthening global maritime partnerships through training and collaborative activities to improve maritime safety and security in Africa.
