U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 14th Marines drive a High-Mobility Artillery Rocket System along West Superior Avenue in Cleveland, June 11, 2012. This was one of 37 military vehicles rolling out of the Cleveland Browns Stadium for the start of the Marine Week Cleveland, June 11-17. In addition to the HIMARS, M1A1 Abrams tanks, amphibious assault vehicles, high-mobility artillery rocket systems, medium tactical vehicle replacements, humvees with gun turrets and M777 howitzer cannons drove through downtown Cleveland on their way to static displays through out the city. Along with an MV-22 Osprey, AH-1W Super Cobra and UN-1N Huey, the ground vehicles will be available for public viewing at Public Square, Voinovich Park, Gateway Plaza and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Marine Week Cleveland celebrates community, country and the Corps. More than 750 Marines journeyed to Cleveland for the event. Ohio has more than 9,000 active and reserve Marines, making it one of the top-five producers of Marines.
