U.S. Marines and community volunteers from Bank of America, Navy Federal Credit Union and Dominion East Ohio set up a memorial dedicated to Ohio service members who died in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom at Voinovich Park in Cleveland, June 11, 2012. "I wanted a chance to show to my friends and family what I do in the Marine Corps," said Lance Cpl. Andrew Reda, with 25th Marine Regiment, based in Brook Park, Ohio. Reda, a Cleveland native, has not deployed, but says he enjoyed supporting those who went before him by assisting with the memorial construction. The memorial was a part of Marine Week Cleveland which showcased the Marine Corps' capabilities and community ties.
