191218-N-PP451-1008 SANTA RITA, Guam (Dec. 18, 2019) Equipment Operator Constructionman Aaron Fish, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Guam, conducts maintenance in preparation of the installation of an external asphalt cement transfer valve located on the barrel-melter unit of the Asphalt Batch Plant. The Batch Plant will be used by the U.S. Navy Seabees deployed to Guam for construction projects throughout the Naval Base to increase mission readiness. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
