Soldiers with the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) pull on ropes from opposing sides of a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter to clear it from the helicopter as it descends to land, during Fast Rope Insertion Extraction System (FRIES) training. Utilizing FRIES is an efficient way to quickly deploy Soldiers to an area where a helicopter many not easily be able to land. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Justin Moeller, 5th SFG(A) Public Affairs)
