Soldiers of the Army Reserve 98th Signal Battalion, Alpha Company practice Drill 2 Escape the Mount Shrimp to Guard as participants in Modern Army Combatives Program at Range Road Armory June 12, 2012. Drill 2 is one of three moves Soldiers practiced to prepare to face an unarmed threatening adversary with the goal of gaining dominant body position. The four-hour familiarization course, offered as part of Golden Coyote, is a Warrior Task & Battle Drill. Golden Coyote is a premier training venue for National Guard, Reserve, and active duty military held annually in the Black Hills and continually draws units from across the country year after year.
