200110-A-DM672-1004 ARABIAN GULF (Jan. 10, 2020) Sailors assigned to the coastal patrol ship USS Hurricane (PC 3) conduct a personnel transfer with the U.S. Coast Guard cutter USCGC Wrangell (WPB 1332) and the expeditionary sea base USS Lewis B. Puller (ESB 3) during an underway in the Arabian Gulf. Hurricane is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
