ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 16, 2020) Sailors assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) air department observe the landing of an E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, assigned to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 20, during flight operations. Ford is currently conducting Aircraft Compatibility Testing to further test its Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG).
