NORFOLK, Va. (Dec. 13, 2019) - Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Antonio Castro assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) watches as a landing craft, air cushion (LCAC), assigned to the Amphibious Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 4, enters the well deck, Dec. 13, 2019. Bataan is operating in the Atlantic Ocean in support of naval operations to maintain maritime stability and security in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
