ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 18, 2020) Sailors assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) air department, and personnel assigned to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 23, refuel a T-45 Goshawk on Ford's flight deck. Ford is currently conducting Aircraft Compatibility Testing to further test its Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG).
