Employees and family members from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District commemorated the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday by participating in the cities 41st annual parade and day of service on January 20, 2020. Approximately 40 volunteers came out in the cold weather to participate in the events organized by the Tulsa District’s Black Employees Program Committee. According to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Commemoration Society the intent of the MLK Day Parade is for participants of all ages to have fun, remember Dr. King’s legacy and how they can be a part of keeping his dream alive.
