200116-N-XK887-0337 DIEGO GARCIA, British Indian Ocean Territory (Jan. 16, 2020) Construction Electrician Constructionman George Feldmann, from Cincinnati, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Diego Garcia, moves a piece of formwork for a concrete sidewalk that will connect munition pads and allow easier forklift access when moving ammunitions between buildings on the island. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
