Soldiers assigned to the 78th Signal Battalion march near the Camp Zama Golf Course Jan. 16 during a 54-mile march held as part of the installation’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day observance. More than 120 participants, divided among 10 teams, completed the march to honor King who, along with thousands of demonstrators, walked the same distance from Montgomery to Selma, Alabama, in 1965.
