ARABIAN SEA (Dec. 20, 2019) Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Chad Williams shows the pilots of an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, attached to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 11, that chocks and chains have been removed from the aircraft as it prepares to take off from the flight deck of the guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60). The Normandy is part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group and is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
