Colorado Army National Guard Spc. The Colorado National Guard is assisting the Larimer Country Sheriff’s office with evacuation and to protect personnel and property during the High Park fire. “It’s very comforting to the people who live up here to have these troops up here securing access to their evacuated homes,” said De Gregorio. Donations of water and food have been provided by local citizens of the region.
