Sgt. Maj. of the Marine Corps, Carlton W. Kent, middle, receives a brief from senior enlisted Marines of 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward) (2nd MAW) at the Tactical Air Command Center aboard Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, Sept. 24. 2nd MAW (Fwd) is deployed as a part of Multi-National Forces-West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop the Iraqi Security Forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic government reforms and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
