U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Yelix Panetofeliciano and Lance Cpl. Cass Cisnero, both with Marine Wing Support Squadron 172, respond to a simulated emergency, demonstrating techniques and procedures to the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force crash fire rescue during exercise Northern Viper at Camp Obihiro, Hokkaido, Japan, Jan. 28, 2020. Northern Viper is a regularly scheduled training exercise that is designed to enhance the interoperability of the U.S. and Japan Alliance by allowing Marine Air-Ground Task Forces from III Marine Expeditionary Force to maintain their lethality and proficiency in MAGTF Combined Arms Operations in cold weather environments.
