CAMP FRANK D. MERRILL, Georgia - Ranger students conduct a dry stream crossing using a one rope bridge during the second phase of U.S. Army Ranger School known as the Mountain Phase. Conducted at Camp Merrill in the northern Georgia mountains, students receive instruction on military mountaineering tasks, mobility training, as well as techniques for employing a platoon for continuous combat patrol operations in a mountainous environment.
