Fellow Joint Air Defense Operations Center leadership and those in attendance applaud outgoing Task Force Command Sgt. Van Mullinaxupon, TF Paladin, upon recognition of his 41 years of service to the U.S. Army and the Department of Defense during a transfer of authority ceremony, June 20, at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. JADOC's support of Operation Noble Eagle and efforts to protect the National Capital Region include the use of radar, ground based air defense systems, cameras and communications equipment. Mullinax was replaced by Command Sgt. Maj. James H. Nichols.
