(Feb. 13, 2020) Information Systems Technician 1st Class Yuvnesh Pillay stands outside of the Navy Region Northwest Regional Operations Center on Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor where he stands the watch as a battle watch commander. Pillay is one of the few Reservists qualified to stand battle watch commander that maintains awareness of any situations and emergencies that occur across the region’s 11 states.
