A spur candidate with 1st Squadron, 75th Cavalry Regiment (Widowmakers), 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), completes an obstacle Oct. 29 at the Air Assault school obstacle course on Fort Campbell, Ky. The 30-hour spur ride featured a 9.5-mile foot march to the Air Assault obstacle course on post, followed by an air movement to the spur stations, which tested candidates as a team on basic soldier skills.
