200130-N-VP266-1017 GULF OF ADEN (Jan. 30, 2020) Marines assigned to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) conduct a cover-and-fire exercise on the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51). Oak Hill, a part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and with embarked 26 MEU, is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
