200201-N-VP266-1145 GULF OF ADEN (Feb. 01, 2020) Information System Technician 2nd Class Nicholas Kali, middle, assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51), strikes bags with a baton after being sprayed with oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray during a security reaction force training course. Oak Hill, a part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
