ARABIAN GULF (Feb. 19, 2020) - Seaman Divine Owoseni tightens a chain while securing an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter to the flight deck while Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Jose Escobar gives a thumbs up to a Naval Air Crewman to verify that the chain is secure during flight operations aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64), Feb. 19, 2020. Carney is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
