Coast Guard Auxilliary Lt. j.g. McNair and Stirling are from Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 12.2, Security Cooperation Team 6, and are aboard Swift as part of African Partnership Station 2012. APS is an international security cooperation initiative facilitated by Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa aimed at strengthening global maritime partnerships through training and collaborative activities to improve maritime safety and security in Africa.
