The commander of U.S. Pacific Fleet Adm. Cecil D. Haney greets Project Hope volunteer Seth Curtis during a visit to the Calbayog Sports Complex, June 19. This complex is being used as a Medical Civic Action Program site where medical personnel work to examine and treat patients as part of Pacific Partnership 2012. Now in its seventh year, Pacific Partnership is the largest annual humanitarian and civic action (HCA) mission in the Asia Pacific region and is designed to strengthen regional partnerships and enhance a collective ability to respond to natural disasters and crisis.
