Seabees from Amphibious Construction Battalion 1 and engineers from the Australian Army inspect a broken seesaw at an elementary school as part of an engineering civic action project (ENGCAP) during Pacific Partnership 2012, June 19. ENGCAP personnel will help repair the schools playground equipment and build new classrooms for the students and faculty. Now in its seventh year, Pacific Partnership is the largest annual humanitarian and civic action (HCA) mission in the Asia Pacific region and is designed to strengthen regional partnerships and enhance a collective ability to respond to natural disasters and crisis.
